Shift Towards a Greener Future
Investors are betting on startups that focus on innovation and eco-friendly solutions, which are experiencing rapid growth. They have acknowledged that going green is not only a trend but also a robust outlook. Valour Capital is backing startups that have the potential to establish a global presence by providing impactful solutions to prevalent challenges.
PM Modi, at the Conference of the Parties (COP28) Summit, said, “Today, India has presented an excellent example of the balance between ecology and economy before the world. Despite India being home to 17 per cent of the population of the world, its contribution to Global Carbon Emissions is less than 4 per cent.“
Investor confidence in LENR as a fossil fuel alternative
A Hyderabad-based startup, HYLENR, founded in 2024, has made a strong debut by closing a pre-series A round of $3 million in funding from Valour Capital. It is building for the next generation of energy innovation and is making breakthroughs in LENR-based thermal generation required in industries such as manufacturing, oil&gas, clean water desalination, and district heating. Karan Goshar, partner at Valour Capital, showed his confidence in the breakthrough innovation, saying
“HYLENR’s LENR technology is disruptive; it represents a leap forward in redefining how the world approaches industrial heat and energy generation. What excites us most is the scalability and safety profile of their systems, coupled with the perfect mix of technological and entrepreneurial expertise within the team, which positions HYLENR to play a key role in the global energy transition. We are thrilled to back a team delivering transformative technology.”
Siddhartha Durairajan, Chairman and Managing Director of HYLENR, explains the scope of LENR technology as, “We believe LENR has the potential to be the safest and most energy-efficient thermal and electrical generation technology of the future.”
Emphasizing the exceptional performance of energy production, he added, “Our recent lab results show unprecedented energy gain ratios, and this round gives us the momentum to focus on our product roadmap.”
How will the new capital be used?
The HYLENR collaboration with governments and industry is already underway. The company seeks strategic investors who share its vision , integrating LENR technologies for post post-carbon era. The funds will accelerate commercialization—from product development to market launch. It will also expand its product range from 7.2 K W for domestic use to 1 MW for larger industries. HYLENR’s chief Innovation Officer, Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada, is the man behind using LENR technologies and aspires to take it to new heights.

What will HYLENR prioritize next?
This transition to clean energy closely aligns with the Indian government, which aims to build an eco-friendly, sustainable environment. Durairajan commented on the road ahead, “We have begun early proof-of-concept tests, with several government bodies and large corporations showing interest in our LENR systems. The next phase will focus on scaling manufacturing and expanding globally.” HYLENR aims to expand to the United States, Japan, and Europe. Also company has set its sights to raise more funds expected $25 million Series A, and strengthen partnerships. With fresh funding and deepening collaborations, HYLENR aims to help build a carbon-neutral global energy ecosystem. Its mission is clear: to define itself not just as a clean energy innovator but to scale LENR technology globally.
